I can not begin to say how much I enjoyed watching this edit. Good shots (forreal Jake! It was nice to see the animal friends also), nice cuts, mellow music, and fun-tastic skating. I am now even more excited about coming to Waterloo next Wednesday. And Roloff, porn to true porn was sick. Shima, get off the floor and be prepared to skate that practice rail when I come up.

If this is what winter skating in the Midwest is like, California can keep their shit. This had a lot of heart in it. It really captured how great winter sessions can be. Nice job.

I’m with both of you guys.

There are lots of sweet moments in here: One of my favorites is Roloff’s lefty topsoul 360 out with hat flying off at the wall.

Jake you are rocking that shit. That last shot of Goodel is amazing. It is so abstracted at first I didn’t even really know what I was looking at…I would have liked even more, with no zoom out, and him staying laid down…but it is very good.

I love you guys. I mean it, I love you guys. Seeing this makes our conversation on the way to Davenport even more meaningful to me.

This is really one of the best things I’ve seen for some time. I likewise love the animals-and the guitars-and the full house-all of it, and not just visually. I love that you have built yourself a community. it is much different in values and practice from what is happening in my household (which is mostly based on food culture). Fortunately I realize now that with very few exceptions, the how (the way) is at least as important as the what (the substance), and that I deeply respect your collective lifestyle.

    No man is an island.

I really hope you guys can make it for a Sunday dinner some time. 5ish. don’t worry about bringing food. I would enjoy seeing my worlds collide.

Great job Jake. You created a vibe in your edit that people really can enjoy, which is no easy task for an editor. Great shots with the new cam as well. Obviously you not putting down your camera is really paying off for you.
