Just yesterday a group of about twenty rollerbladers descended on Dubuque for the yearly end of summer session. Aaron Schultz took care of organization and hosting the event this year, and I speak for everyone by saying he did an excellent job. The session was a huge success and I’m sure everyone had a good time.

After warming up at the local skatepark we hit great spot after great spot. All-in-all, the group destroyed four street spots almost without incident. Unfortunately, Dante Muse took a spill at the last spot that landed him a hospital visit and a separated shoulder. Get well soon Dante!
Thank to everyone that showed up and again to Aaron and his girlfriend for the great hospitality. See you next year.

sweet, thanks for the quick update, and the photos. That last photo of me looks like I’m wearing bell bottoms the way the flash hit my pants!
yes great session had a blast cant wait for the next one… gilpin i do agree that you look like your wearing bellbottoms in the last photo which is awesome!!
Good fucking times. While I’d like to say we should do this again soon, my body can’t handle it. I can’t wait to see video from it. Hardcore skating by all.
