Brian Brown has always been a close friend of mine and one of my favorite bladers. For a while, Brian had taken a path in his life that did not include his skates. He made some mistakes, but has always remained a good person. It had been over a year since I had seen him, but we crossed paths last time I was in Iowa. Now, Brian is back on his blades, and I don’t see him stopping again any time soon. On behalf of the Iowa Connection, I welcome him back and look forward to the next time he graces the streets.
