From DSM to Texas

Vacations are always a good escape from reality for awhile, especially when you are traveling all the way across the Midwest to the southern most state.  On a Sunday afternoon we (Josh Ray, Drew Poggemann, and myself) ventured from the quaint Iowa countryside to the bustling concrete and clay jungle that is Texas.  It was an eighteen hour drive down interstates and highways with all your standard stops, one of which proved fruitful for a 4 am session. When we arrived in Houston Monday afternoon everyone was running low on rest, and relaxation was needed. The following week was full of blading, eating out, playing tourists, and enjoying the change of scenery.  We were able to skate some awesome skateparks with a plethora of beautiful weather the entire stay in the Lone Star state. The drive back was dreaded that coming Sunday morning but we had to escape the craziness of Texas roadways and their insane drivers.  After another eighteen hour venture, which seemed endless spite the required stop in Allen, Texas for lunch at In-n-Out Burger, we were back in the confines of quiet Des Moines.  Included is a few photographs and a fun edit to give you a taste of some of our excursion. Stay bladed and see you all soon.
